The Reverend James W. Mathieson, Supply Priest
While Emmanuel searches for a new rector, the parish is being ably served by the Reverend James W. Mathieson, a retired priest.
Fr Mathieson has served as supply priest for a number of parishes in the Diocese of Southern Virginia, following his retirement as rector of the Church of the Epiphany in Danville, Virginia.
Early in his ministry, Fr Mathieson also served for several years as rector here at Emmanuel.
