“Musical Souvenirs” by Pianist Harold Brown
Internationally recognized Virginia pianist Harold Brown will come to Chatham to share his “awe-inspiring” renditions of famous works for solo piano by Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Liszt, Debussy... The concert will also feature young pianist Robert Young from Danville.

The program includes “O Holy Night,” Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker,” White Christmas and concludes with a sing-along of carols.

“The Classic Strings Duo: Beethoven, Mozart and Sibelius”
Kevin and Bryan Matheson present exciting and beautiful violin-viola duos by some of the most famous composers as well as lighter works by Peter Schickele (P. D. Q. Bach) and ragtime composer William Ryden.

“Antonin Dvorak: Quintet for Piano and Strings”

Bryan Matheson, viola ~ Julia Goudimova, cello
One of the best-loved chamber works for piano and strings is Czech composer Antonin Dvorak’s Quintet written in 1888. It has rich romantic melodies for all instruments, especially the viola, which was Dvorak’s own instrument. The program includes the world premier of a trio written for Kevin and Bryan.
