Dear Friends of the Chatham Concert Series,
If you are ready to get out of the house after this snow and uplift your spirits, please join us this Friday evening at 7pm for an intimate program of duos for violin and viola. Beethoven, Mozart and Sibelius all played the viola (and violin) so you can be transported back in time to hear what they would have played on winter evenings around the fire! The program also includes a ragtime duo by William Ryden, “Little Suite for Autumn” by Peter Schickele (P. D. Q. Bach) and a duo written for Kevin and Bryan!
Local music student Mary Augusta Paris will perform a selection from Antonio Vivaldi’s Violin Concerto in A Minor, accompanied by her mother, pianist Charlotte Paris.
A reception will follow the concert for mingling and tasty treats provided by Chatham First!
