Beginning this Sunday, we will stop in-person worship for the next few weeks. We are following guidelines set by our diocesan medical advisory panel. This panel is composed of doctors, nurses, physicians’ assistants, nurse practitioners, epidemiologists, and one attorney. The members are from around the diocese, including people from our end of the diocese!
And so, with sorrowful hearts but mindful of our care for and stewardship of the people of Emmanuel, your vestry and I have made the decision to stop in person worship. This Sunday we will hold our drive-in worship as well as have a few chairs in the yard, 10' apart. If you choose to come and sit in the yard, you must wear a mask. There will also be a worship video posted on our Facebook page, later in the day, or at the latest, Monday morning.
Even if you have not joined Facebook, you can view our page:

After a beautiful Sunday service last week, when we were blessed with the beautiful voice of Charlotte Paris singing, this will be a different experience. But we will be together with God.
So, begin Advent with us.
