On Sunday, July 2nd at 3:30 p.m. the Chatham Concert Series will hold its annual All-American program at Emmanuel Episcopal Church.
Concert series favorites Kevin and Bryan Matheson, violin and viola and Judith Clark, piano will entertain the audience with excerpts from Gershwin’s “Porgy and Bess,” and “Rhapsody in Blue,” Copeland’s “Hoe-Down” from Rodeo, and The Entertainer by Joplin. Arrangements of favorite Broadway songs by Lerner & Loewe, Rodgers & Hammersteinand Stephen Sondheim will leave you with a spring in your step.
Young pianist, Cameron Crews, from Halifax will perform patriotic selections. He has played piano for eleven years and takes lessons from Dr. Tim Duncan in Halifax. He has played for many events and churches including First Baptist Church of Republican Grove and Memorial Presbyterian Church in Volens.
